Admiral Propane is popular here in Tennessee!

“These guys will come out and install in the dead of winter, snow on the ground, it doesn’t matter. No other place will do this! They installed a tankless water heater, gas grill, propane logs and two space heaters with no problems and absolutely no complaints from me. The office ladies and the servicemen really provide excellent customer service. Thank you, Admiral Propane!”
– Hope H.

“My wife and I just recently chose to have Admiral Propane supply a new tank for our residence and a set of logs. I can only say any expectations have not only been met but exceeded each step of the way. Information, sales, explanation of charges and working with my schedule and then making arrangements to help me earlier than expected. I’m thankful. I highly recommend Admiral Propane for your LP needs!”
– Carl H.

Bristol, TN: The birthplace of country music and so much more.

In 1927, Ralph Peer, a record producer with Victor Records, began recording local musicians performing the traditional folk music of the area. The Bristol Sessions, as these recording sessions were later called, were the commercial debut of future country legends A. P. Carter and his family as well as Jimmie Rodgers.

Speaking of country music, Bristol was also the hometown of the country singer, actor and entertainer Tennessee Ernie Ford, best known for his hit single “Sixteen Tons.”

There’s lots to do here in town. Bristol Motor Speedway hosts several NASCAR events each year, and Bristol Dragway hosts the NHRA’s Ford Thunder Valley Nationals.

You can find out more about Bristol’s role in country music at the 24,000-square-foot Birthplace of Country Music Museum. Go to the Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown Bristol for concerts, comedy shows, movies, theater, family entertainment and dance performances.

Other notable natives and residents of Bristol include:

  • Justin Grimm, the Major League Baseball player who pitched three games in the 2016 World Series to help the Chicago Cubs win their first World Series since 1908.
  • David Loggins, the singer and songwriter best known his 1974 song “Please Come to Boston.” He has written songs for Kenny Rogers, Three Dog Night, Wynonna Judd, Reba McEntire and Alabama. He also composed “Augusta,” which CBS Sports uses as its theme for the Masters Golf Tournament.
  • Jayma Mays, the actress best known for the role of Emma Pillsbury in the TV show Glee.
