What’s with the pink trucks?
Those pink propane delivery trucks are a part of Admiral Propane’s dedication to our families, friends and neighbors in East Tennessee. Our service area may be large — Greeneville to Bristol, Piney Flats to Abingdon — but so is our commitment to being there for our communities.
One of the ways we show that commitment is our partnership with the Susan G. Komen Foundation and its efforts to increase awareness of breast cancer and support for those living with the disease. We are also active in community events that support the Susan G. Komen Foundation and its fight against breast cancer. Like many of you, breast cancer has touched our lives and this is a cause close to our hearts.
We began with one pink propane delivery truck in 2007 and have since added five more across both our Blountville/Tri-Cities and Greeneville locations.
These pink trucks not only raise awareness of breast cancer — they definitely stand out on the road! —but they serve an important purpose. Admiral Propane always makes a generous donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. You can also include a check donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation when you mail in your bill!
And, since our pink propane delivery trucks both run on propane, the trucks are low-emissions vehicles that are better for the East Tennessee environment we cherish.
